А. Festivals in Europe.

Members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals could become festivals from different European countries which specialize in different forms of traditional folklore arts (folklore songs, dances and customs, old town songs, classical music, tourist’s and patriotic songs, orthodox chants and others).

The members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall be able to use free of charge the brand of the Musical Feasts „Euro Folk” , the flag of the European Association of Folklore Festivals as well as to include “Euro Folk” in the name of their festival. The festivals – members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall be entitle to be included in the program of the Musical Feasts “Euro Folk”, to get free of charge advertisement  through the worldwide Internet television “Euro Folk” and their TV products to be broadcasted by the same television.  The members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall be able to invite against payment television teams from the worldwide Internet television ”Euro Folk” for filming and making films about the festival as well as other TV products (recording and arranging of concerts, video clips and others.) The members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall benefit of considerable preferences in payment for these services.

EAFF can recommend groups to participate in the festival programs of members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF.

The festivals – members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall have the right to apply for obtaining the “Golden Orpheus” Prize of the European Association of Folklore Festivals or the Honorary Sign of the European Association of Folklore Festivals. The underlying criteria in evaluating the festivals shall be the authenticity in performing the traditional folklore arts, the performing skills of the participants and the quality of the festival’s organization.

The festivals wishing to become members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals have to file the membership application form below.

The membership fee for festivals is paid via bank account in Reiffeisen Bank - Veliko Tarnovo, IBAN No: BG49RZBB91551488861308 BIC: RZBBBGSF. We will inform you about the amount of the membership fee after acceptance of the application and it depends on the type of the festival. Then we will send you an invoice.

B. Festivals outside Europe.

The festivals which are held outside Europe could become associated members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals. They have to be specializing in different genres of the traditional folklore arts, too.

The associated members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall be able to benefit of free of charge advertisement by the worldwide Internet Television “Euro Folk’ as well as to consulting assistance in gathering ensembles for participation. They could also make use of assistance in finding festivals for exchange of groups – participants.

Application for membership of festivals outside Europe

C. Collective membership.

Folklore musical, singing and / or dance teams, ensembles, groups, formations, as well as juridical entities such as cultural clubs, community centers, schools, cultural institutions, NGOs and other organizations which are active in the field of folklore and traditional folk arts can be collective members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals.

Collective members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals will benefit from a recommendation to participate in Festivals that are members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals in the filing of www.eaff.eu. Only queries of collective members of EAFF will be considered. They are entitled for free advertising on the Internet and broadcast on the World Wide Internet Television "Euro Folk" and the site of EAFF. To be collective members they must complete an application for membership. The membership fee for the collective members is 75 €, which can be paid by bank transfer to bank account Reiffeisen Bank - Veliko Tarnovo, IBAN No: BG49RZBB91551488861308 BIC: RZBBBGSF or by credit or debit card via PayPal.

All those, wishing to become collective members have to file the membership application form.

Collective members of the European Association of Folklore Festivals shall be entitled without further payment to participate in the European TV Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk 2010". For this purpose, they should send a DVD with their performance at address Bulgaria, 5000 Veliko Tarnovo, 19,Hristo Botev Street, block 4, Post box 27
