We will accept groups from the age of 17th years old. But we are going to accept folklore dance groups from any where as we want to give the opportunity to the whole world to come at our festival Our festival has been award 2019 with the EFFE awards as one of the best festivals of Europe. In 2023 we have been choosen from the word dancing platforms as one of the best festival in the whole world 500 singers, 400 dancers, 200 majorettes and 200 bands members participated in the 2023 festival. The organizer is not responsible for providing Visas to foreign nationals (outside the EU) that will need them. Maximum group members thirty (30), including musicians. (Please note that we prefer live music performances not CD) – If groups like to bring more people, it is permitted. 6 performances will take place. Be prepared for 4 different 10 minutes program, other dances, other costumes and 2 outdoor performances at streets and squares only one dance for 3-5 minutes. Participation fee: Participants: 260 Euro per person - 5 nights, 4 FB (full board) - Every member of the Dance group, including musicians must pay a participation fee of 260 euro per person which you must pay in advance. Accompanying people: 290 Euro per person - 5 nights, 4 FB (full board) - Any extra people that wish to join the group for purposes of visiting Cyprus and have fun during the days of the festival as escorts of the group must pay 290 euro per person. They will also receive the same benefits described. Free accommodation: In a group of 30 participants - the leader is free. (30 + 1). You are also welcomed to bring representatives from your country; that may be the Mayor of your town who will use free accommdation. Participation fee includes: Accommodation in 3 or 4 beds rooms apartments or flats or hotels for 5 nights. Those who wants accommodation in single or double room should pay the difference. 3 buffet meals per day Internal Transportation (transfers from airport to hotel and back, or transportations from and to venues if needed) Parties, presents, free mini cruise and diving Free entrance to Museums Presents and t-shirt The single room is 45 euro extra per night per person Double room 35 euro per person per night We can organize extra excursions for each group by a small fee for the buss Transport to and from Cyprus is responsibility of each group. The Organizing Committee does not undertake this expense air tickets, etc. Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form. Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment. Next payment: 150 Euro prepaid to the organizing team, and the rest - one month before the festival. The amount of 150 euro is non-refunded if any cancellations occur from the groups side or from the organisers side incase of any pandemic, natural disasters or war circumstances. This is because we still require to pay reservations for hotels and bookings.
