Salzburg is one of the most beautiful areas of Europe. It is also a very popular place for hiking. The crystal-clear lakes of Salzkammergut (Wolfgangsee, Mondsee), the charming small towns (Hallstatt, St. Wolfgang) or the Hohe Tauern National Park provide wonderful experiences.
The sights of Salzburg (Mirabell-garden, Mozart-Haus, Cathedral, Hohensalzburg Fortress) are visited by tens of thousands of tourists each year.
Abtenau is a small town in this region, between thousands of metres of mountains, where ensembles are invited to the art festival at the end of September.

Participants:

  • Folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, music bands from all over the world
  • The number of the participants are not limited
  • No age limits

Participation fee:

  • 169 Euro per person (Addition day can be booked for 48 euro/person/day)

Participation fee includes:

  • Participation in the festival concerts (2 performances)
  • Accommodation in 3* Hotels, Apartments, Guest houses in triple, double and single rooms
  • Half-board
  • Diplomas, gifts

Participation fee does not include:

  • Transport

Breakfast, optional program – tour to Hallstatt (32 km) sightseeing in Salzburg (50 km) (Hohensalzburg Fortress, Salzburg Cathedral, Mozart’s Birthplace, Mirabell Gardens)

Breakfast, optional program – tour to Hallein (32 km), Werfen (castle, „Eisriesenwelt Werfen” – 35 km), Golling (castle – 18 km), Tour to Karkogelhütte

Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
