"Sereshk" is an Iranian music ensemble formed by Seyed Yahya Alavi in the year 2000 in Mashhad, Iran. It was founded in the early 21st century aimed at presenting and publishing works of Persian Traditional Music with a focus on ancient Iranian traditions in music and a modern sentiment on music composition, solo playing, and group playing. To name a few of the ensemble’s most notable activities, we may mention holding numerous concerts in different cities of Iran, holding a concert during the Iranian Cultural Week in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan (2011), and participation at Musikmesse Music Fair in Frankfort, Germany (2013). Moreover, we may add being ranked first at the 29th Fajr International Music Festival, Tehran, Iran, 2014 (The most prestigious music festival in Iran), working with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Media Corporation, and releasing an album called "Moj-e- Soda".
