Ислямска република Иран Tehran Тhe “KHOSH HONAR” Music Institute was founded in Tehran in 2013 as a formal and non-governmental Institute for the training of Iranian folkloric and internationally musicians licensed by the Iran's Technical & Vocational Training Organization (affiliated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs). The most remarkable goal of the Institute founders is the discovery, encouragement and education of talented children in the field of the Iranian traditional music and international music. Currently, the Institute has 300 in-school students, of which 90% are children and adolescents, as well as the teachers of the KHOSH HONAR, train approximately 2,000 students of elementary and secondary schools in Tehran. Every year, In order to promote Iranian folk music and the introduction of various Iranian national instruments as well as encouraging the young musicians and connecting them to other international artists, The “KHOSH HONAR” Music Institute sends a group of its best musicians to international festivals and competitions. Fortunately, they have also succeeded in winning the prize.
