Lefkada is the fourth largest island in the Ionian group. It is located between Corfu and Kefalonia. Its name derives from the Greek word "leukos" (white) because of the white rocks of the island. The highest destination is also the capital of Lefkada with the same name - Lefkada. The village has a Venetian-style architecture, and the beautiful streets offers cafes and restaurants.

The island has several medium-sized resorts along the east coast and a large number of individual beaches, the most famous of which are Porto Katsiki, Egremni and Nidri.

Goal of the festival:

The goal of the festival is to provide kids, teenagers and adults with the opportunity to show their talents in front of a big audience; to develop and promote music and dance art, as well as to strengthen the relationships between group leaders. Further goal of the festival is to promote joint activities among the performers and create friendships.

Form of the festival: "Sun Sparks" festival is not a competition and participants would not compete against each other.

Participants in the festival:

The festival is open to all - individual participants, community centers, youth centers, academies, public schools, private schools, dance studios/clubs, etc. There are no age limitations.

Age categories:

• 1st age category - kids under 12 years
• 2nd age category - teenagers 13 to 19 years
• 3rd age category - adults over 19 yrs

Participation terms:

Maximum duration of musical and dance performances:

• Solo, duet and trio - up to 4 min for performance per age group
• Group - up to 15 min for an ensemble per age group

Dance category is open to all non-professional dance groups and performers without restrictions in genre (hip-hop, classical dance, folk dance, modern dance, jazz ballet, etc.) or number of participants.

Music category is open to all non-professional dance groups and performers (singers, musicians, choirs, etc.) without restrictions in genre (hip-hop, classical music, folk music, pop and rock music, jazz, etc.) or number of participants.

Cruise program:
1. Porto Katsiki - goes around the most famous beaches of the island of Porto Katsiki, Egremni (which are otherwise impassable), stopping at them for a beach, about twenty minutes. Porto Katsiki - the most beautiful beach of the Ionian Sea, breathtaking. Free time to swim in the crystal waters.
2. Fiskardo - Kefalonia - The largest island in the Ionian Sea with many changes in the landscape and its diverse natural beauties. Long sandy beaches, picturesque bays with turquoise blue water, impressive caves and rare geological formations captivate the visitor. The only settlement that remained untouched by the 1953 earthquakes. It stops in Fiskardo (a very picturesque and picturesque town) for coffee or lunch. A short stay to relax in one of the restaurants for a meal and plenty of time to walk around.
3. Ithaca - The island of Odysseus. The hospitable romantic island of Ithaca offers the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, interesting tours. A harmonious combination of sea and mountain with magical fairytale bays and beaches.
4. Meganisi (Papanikolis Cave) - Visit to Meganisi, where is the cave that in 1940 during the Second World War it was used as a hiding place by the Iatridis Navigator of the legendary Papanicoli submarines. Enter the photo cave.
5. Scorpio - Sparti- Scorpidi (the three islands of Onassis) - will remind us of the incredible love between the shipping magnate Aristotelis Onassis and the opera singer Maria Callas.
6. Maduri - an island where the great poet Aristotelis Valouritis was born. Since 1990 is characterized as a museum and was inherited by his great-grandchildren. We'll stop at Jackie Kennedy Beach. Going back.
