II International Folk-Dance and Music Festival "DURRES FESTIVAL DAYS"

Durres is a city and municipality in Albania. It is very popular tourist place with many hotels, restaurants and shops. It is situated on the Adriatic sea with very beautiful sand beach and hot sea. It is only 70 km from the airport in Tirana.

Festivals are supported from the Center of Culture in Durres and local municipality. So the leaders of the groups will have reception on the city hall in Durres.

Conditions and rules of festival:

• Festival is not competitive and groups from all over the world can take part in this festival.
• Folk dance groups, modern dance groups, choirs, vocal groups, majorette teams, brass bands and orchestras are welcome to apply.
• The number of participants and guests is not limited.
• On the festival can participate children groups, adults and youth with no limitation.
• Program in live or on USB and must be 12-14 minutes duration.
• Group must have flag from own country and it is good to have display with the name and country (for defile).
• Need up to 5 quality photos of ensemble for promotional purposes.
• Ensemble should send us rooming list one month before the festival start.

Program:

21.00 Meeting with all leaders of the group (get to know gather, present their ensemble, round table)

After finished the program overnight in hotels

20.00 – 23.00 Festival show program in hotels (presentation 8 minutes program)

21.00 – 23.00 Party for goodbye in hotels with all participants

Participation fee:

•   88 Euro per person for 3 nights with 2 meals per day (3 HB) (open buffet)
• 117 Euro per person for 4 nights with 2 meals per day (4 HB)

If you need more double rooms in selected hotels (on request and if it is available) than it will be additionally paid 5 Euro per person per day and for single (on request and if it is available) will be 15 Euro per person per day.

Participation fee includes:

• Half board accommodation in 3* hotel resort with outdoor swimming pool and own beach (meals are open buffet)
• Participation in the festival concerts
• Welcome drinks for leaders of the group
• Present and certificate for the group
• Drinks (water) for the dancers during the performance
• Welcome reception for leaders in municipality in Durres

Additional information:

• The groups should have their transport to the city of Durres
• Bus parking is free
• The groups which arrive by plane at the airport of Tirana - we can organize the transfer and it is additionally paid
• Groups should have their insurance
• Additional HB in 3* hotel is 27 Euro per person
