The festival is organized by the Telavi City Hall Culture Center and the company "Sama," with the support of the regional government and the festival director. Telavi is a historic city, rich with museums and beautiful views overlooking the Caucasus Mountains, located 80 kilometers from the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. The "Dance Festival in Telavi" was founded in 2005 and has been actively held ever since.

The festival will be held on JUNE 07-11.2025 at Vazha-Pshavela Professional State Drama Theatre in Telavi and
Nadikvari park. The amateur and professional collectives will participate in all types and genres of dance in the
Festival. Prominent figures in the art will be invited as the guests of honor.

We invite singing groups, vocalists, and dancers from both modern and traditional dance and song ensembles to participate in the festival.

The aim of the Festival

The Festival aims to give us the opportunity to get introduced to the creative groups and individual performers
from all parts, to establish friendly relations between creative collectives, to share mutual experiences, to deepen
creative relations and to promote Georgian and World Dances.

Terms and conditions of the Festival 

1. Amateur collectives and individual performers, children and adults as well as students and other creative
groups and collectives are able to participate in the festival.
2. All collectives, regardless of genre, are required to present two kinds of performances (between 5-12
minutes in total)
3. The opening and closing ceremony of the festival will be held.
4. Festival participant collectiveshave the right to take part in the upcoming event according to the schedule.
5. The Festival Organizing Committee has established special prizes, certificates and diplomas for the
collectives. As well as any other interested organizations and individuals have the right to set up their own
prizes.
6. Those who are willing to participate in the Festival must make an application and fill out the Festival
form before 01.05.2025.
7. Student - Youth groups who would like to participate in the Festival must submit an application issued by
the Students Self-Government.
8. Festival participants should strictly follow the regulations developed by the Organizing Committee.
9. Photo and childrens painting exhibition will be held during the festival dedicated to the International
Dance Day.
10. Those who are willing to participate in the exhibition can submit their photographs A4 and/or A3 in size.
11. Participants are allowed to display their or sponsors’ logo in a visible place.
12. The festival hosts both live music and USB.

Organizational issues

The Board of directors of the Festival has been established to fulfill the tasks set by the Organization
Committee.

Festival Funding

In order to hold the Festival at a high level and for the purpose to raise the funds, the Organizing Committee will
apply to State agencies, businessmen, firms, non-governmental organizations and others. The amount will be
accumulated on the bank account of the Festival Organizing Committee.

Participation fee:

  • 210 Euro per person - 5 BB Hotel  (3 bedded rooms, own bathroom) 
  • includes bed and breakfast and the festival participation fee.
        For 20 participants - one gratis (19 paying + 1 free of charge)

Accommodation details:

  • Participants will stay in 3-bed rooms for 5-night, 6-day stay
  • Accommodation options include 3-star hotels in and around the city center. 
  • Groups of 19+1 participants will receive one free spot
  • An additional night with breakfast in a triple room costs 30 euros per person.
  • There is a large shopping center 50 meters from the hotel, where there is also a Carrefour market

Transfer prices:

  • Transfer from Kutaisi airport to the hotel (round trip):
    • Group of 20 people: €1500
    • Group of up to 55 people: €1800
  • Transfer from Tbilisi airport (round trip):
    • Group of 20 people: €1000
    • Group of up to 55 people: €1300

Application and payment process:

  • Interested groups must submit an application form
  • Approved groups must pay a 10% deposit, which will be deducted from the final payment
  • Participants must pay 90% of the total participation fee one month in advance or on the spot with permition of organizers.

Excursion options:

  1. Alaverdi Monastery and Nekresi Monastery: €10 per person (includes entrance tickets)
  2. Sighnaghi tour: €20 per person
  3. King Erekle Museum in Telavi: €5 per person (entrance ticket)
Additional sightseeing opportunities can also be arranged upon request while visiting Telavi.

 

Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
