There will be organized 2 concerts, parade and many activities for participants as Disco evening, Miss Festival, Degustation of typical Italian products, tours and excursions. Bracciano is situated just a 30 km to Rome, so the groups can reach center of Rome easily by train from Bracciano in 1 hour and spend only 8 Euro for unlimited using of all transport in Rome. The lovely lake and a medieval castle are among the tourist attractions that can be visited in Bracciano and make Bracciano a good choice for your holidays. Every day the citizens of Bracciano and surrounding area will be entertained with concerts in the square, there will be meetings between the groups, games and lessons in folklore for the public, hoping to thus aid the preservation of folk culture and human relations between the countries. The Folklore Festival also brings with it the opportunity to present the richness of ancient Italian heritage and leave indelible memories that each participant bring in their own land. Bracciano is a small town in the Italian region of Lazio, 30 km northwest of Rome. The town is famous for its volcanic lake (Lago di Bracciano or "Sabatino", the eighth largest lake in Italy) and for a particularly well-preserved medieval castle Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. The lake is widely used for sailing and is popular with tourists; the castle has hosted a number of events, especially weddings of actors and singers. The history of Bracciano is all determined by the magnificent Castle whose sizes dominate all over the settlement. Due to its structural and architectonic characteristics and the excellent state of conservation it is considered one of the most important castles of Italy. It is located on the southern shore of Lake Bracciano. It was built in the 15th century, and combines the functions of a military defence structure and a civilian residence of the feudal lords of the period, the Orsini and Borgia, both papal families. Conditions of the festival: The Folklore festival is a non - competitive festival. In the festival can take part folklore dance and song groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups. There is no age limit. Number of participating groups is limited. Organizers provide invitation letters for sponsor or for obtaining VISA for Italy. The Festival will be organized in the main square of Bracciano. The ensembles can use live music or music on CD. Each ensemble must present a program not longer than 10 minutes. All groups are invited to send their music at least 2 weeks before festival! Departure. * The organizer reserves the right for any changes in the program, and the participants will be informed on time. Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form. Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment. As a next step, the group should pay an amount of 30% of the overall cost to the Organizers of the festival.
