Marmaris is one of the most famous touristic cities in Turkey, part of the Mediterranean Sea between Turkey and Greece. The answer to the question "where do the Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea meet" is Marmaris.
It is not just the sea or the nature that attracts people to Marmaris from all over the world. Not even the rich history reaching from past civilizations to today. There must be something more. We shall let an expert talk on the Mediterranean history.
Fernand Braudel in his book named "Mediterranean" says:
"What is this Mediterranean? All of a thousand things. Not one landscape, countless landscapes. Not one sea, many seas following each other. Not one civilization, many civilizations piled on each other".
Marmaris is a place sheltering many of these landscapes, seas and civilizations.

Conditions:

• Festival will start at 21 OCTOBER 16:00 and will end at 25 OCTOBER 10.00.
• 10 years old and above participants can join the festival.
• The festival groups will be Folk Dance Groups, Modern Dances Groups, Classic Dances Groups, Country Dances Groups, Folk Music Groups, Chorus Groups, Classic Music Groups, Insturment Music Groups, Brass Band Groups, Country Music Groups, Street Theater Groups, Ritm Groups, Dumb Show Groups, Acrobatic Groups, Majjoretta Groups, Flag Groups, Vocal Groups.
• Groups will present a performances of 5,10 and 15 minutes.
• Groups who will attend the festival should be minimum 5 person.
• There will be no free person for any capacity of the groups.
• Music can be live, CD or USB.
• Transfers will be only in Dalaman Airport. Dalaman-Marmaris tranfer 35 Euro per person (round trip)
• Pictures of the groups should be sent with application.
• Festival program will be announced later.

Participation fee:

• 195 Euro per person - all inclusive (alcohol included) in OTEL KAYAMARİS-MARMARİS (HOTEL BEACH IS INCLUDED.) - rooms are for 2 people and 3 people.
  • For a single room there is an extra daily fee of 20 Euro.

Payment for evaluation of one competition number:

• Soloist   - 35 Euro per participant
• Duet      - 30 Euro per participant
• Trio       - 20 Euro per participant
• Groups - 10 Euro per participant

Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
