Sound affects all living things. Collective singing creates a sacred space. Performance duration: up to 12 minutes per group. Application deadline: November 10, 2025 Venue: St. Vincent and St. James Cathedral in Wrocław (to be confirmed) The festival offers a unique opportunity to perform in sacred venues of Wrocław and present choral, vocal and instrumental art to a wide audience. Main objectives of the festival: Establishing creative international contacts between group leaders. Expanding the promotion of choral art achievements. Enriching the repertoire of choral ensembles with works of Ukrainian and world classical heritage, folk song arrangements, as well as high-quality contemporary works. Groups of 5 or more people are invited: Academic, folk, professional choirs Choral groups: mixed choirs, male choirs, female choirs, children’s choirs, church choirs, academic choirs, folk choirs Vocal-choral ensembles, folk groups, and small groups from 5 persons Folk groups of traditional creativity, programs may include ritual elements A cappella groups Chamber instrumental ensembles: string quartets, wind ensembles, mixed chamber groups Groups with experimental forms: choral singing + percussion, folk + electronics Repertoire requirements in the church: Choirs and vocal groups perform a program lasting up to 12 minutes (from 2 to 4 works per application). Instrumental forms - up to 8 minutes. All works in the church must be performed a cappella or with live musical accompaniment. Performance to a backing track is discussed individually in each case. Repertoire of spiritual, sacred, and classical themes is welcomed. Possible works include: A work in the form of a canon A work by a composer from one’s own country (authentic or arranged) A work by Western European composers Sacred, classical, academic, Christmas works, Ukrainian folk singing Age groups: Children 7-9 years old Children 10-13 years old Teenagers 14-17 years old Adults from 18 years old Seniors from 50 years old Mixed groups Financial conditions: 1. Participation fee for the festival: Groups from 5 to 10 people - 10 EUR per participant Groups from 11 or more - 8 EUR per participant 2. Participants taking part in several competition categories pay the fee for each category separately. 3. The participation fee covers: Participation in the festival program Organizational and technical support Audio and video recording of the concerts Diplomas and awards for ensembles Official invitations and accompanying documents (if needed) Media coverage of the event Workshops for conductors, composers, as well as students of artistic and technical specialties. All collected participation fees are used exclusively for organizing and holding the festival. 4. Payment is made to the organizer’s account after participation is confirmed. Payment details are sent individually to each group. 6. In case of withdrawal after November 10, 2025, the participation fee is non-refundable. Awards: Festival participants receive: A commemorative diploma and festival trophy for the group Teachers whose names are listed in the applications receive personalized acknowledgments Festival souvenirs Technical requirements: Applications for participation in the festival should be submitted by participants or their representative in electronic form by November 10, 2025. If using a backing track, please discuss the repertoire with the organizers in advance. Attention! The Organizing Committee assists in the accommodation of participants and accompanying persons (at the expense of the sending organization or at their own cost) and organizes a cultural program for participants. Return to hostel/hotel. Dinner. 20.12.2025 Breakfast. Walking tour of the city of 100 bridges and mysterious legends. This cozy and comfortable city was founded by Czech Prince Vratislav I and was under the rule of the Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland. Free time for optional excursions and the Wrocław dwarfs treasure hunt quest. Dinner. Optional excursions: Visit to Wrocław Zoo and Afrykarium - www.zoo.wroclaw.pl Visit to Aquapark - www.aquapark.wroc.pl Hydropolis water science museum - www.hydropolis.pl City panorama view from the 49th floor of Sky Tower Wrocław Stroll through Ostrów Tumski, illuminated by over 100 gas lamps lit and extinguished daily by a lamplighter, who can be spotted before dusk and at dawn. In the evening - Festive Award Ceremony for the Festival participants on the stage of Centrum Kultury Nowy Pafawag as part of the International Festival and Competition "Wroclaw Art Inspirations Festival." Return to hotel/hostel. Dinner. 21.12.2025 Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel. Departure home. * The sequence of events may be changed while maintaining the declared activities. Leaders and accompanying persons are responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings and props, as well as for the careful treatment of property in hotels and event venues. In case of damage caused by members of the group, leaders and accompanying persons are obliged to compensate for the damage.
