The festival takes place in the vibrant coastal town of Crikvenica, a renowned Adriatic destination known for its long sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and over a century of tradition as a seaside spa resort. Surrounded by Mediterranean greenery and just 35 km south of Rijeka, Crikvenica offers a perfect combination of natural beauty, historical charm, and warm hospitality. Performing in Crikvenica means taking the stage in a place where the sea breeze meets cultural heritage, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for artists and audiences alike. Participants: Open to folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from all over the world. Choirs must be able to perform on open-air stages. No age limits and no restrictions on the number of participants. Places are limited – early registration is advised. Sail to Vrbnik, a picturesque cliffside village famous for its local wine Vrbnička Žlahtina. Return to Crikvenica around 14:00 and transfer back to the hotel Option 2 – Cave Biserujka & Island Tour: Visit the fascinating Biserujka Cave. Continue through the scenic island towns of Malinska and Njivice to reach historic Krk Town. Take a boat trip to Košljun Island to explore the Franciscan monastery and its museum. Optional afternoon visit to Baška, with a chance to see the Sea Aquarium.
