Optional excursion to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, the oldest of its kind. Explore a 300-meter labyrinth spanning 9 levels and reaching a depth of 327 meters, featuring unique structures hand-carved from salt blocks. Return to Krakow. Optional: Social evening – a closing gathering for all participants. Overnight stay. 15th November 2026 - Sunday - Breakfast and hotel check-out. Optional walking tour of the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz). Once an independent town founded by King Casimir III, it later became the historic heart of Krakow's Jewish community. Today, it is a bohemian district, idealfor meeting friends, enjoying Polish beer, and tasting traditional Zapiekanki. The entire area features an authentic atmosphere with unique cafes, restaurants, shops, and historical monuments. The tour covers the Schindler's List passage, the Old Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery, the Jewish Square, and the Remah Synagogue. Your guide will share compelling insights about pre - WWII life and the wartime history of the area. Alternative optional excursion to Auschwitz, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau (now a UNESCO-protected Memorial and Museum).
