International festival of folklore – “Costa Brava Folk Festival” – a traditional non-competitive festival that gives an opportunity to showcase the cultural traditions of different peoples of the world, contributes to the preservation and promotion of national traditions and cultures of different ethnic nationalities and the strengthening of inter-ethnic relations. International festival of folklore in Catalonia is directed for the propaganda of peace, friendship, fraternal relations and world nations’ solidarity by means of folk art of dance and music, rich traditions and respected national standards of self-expression and communication.

Program:

1st day:
– hotel accommodation; (Check in at 14:00)
– The leader of each group receives an envelope with the festival program.

2nd day:
08:00 – breakfast
09:00 – for those who wish sightseeing tours (additional charge)
13:00 – Lunch
17:30 – performance within the hotel complex
19:30 – dinner

3rd day:
08:00 – breakfast; free day
09:00 – for those who wish sightseeing tours (additional charge)
13:00 – Lunch
18:00 – For orchestras, choirs and vocal – instrumental groups a performance in an open venue; ( the performances are allowed only for the groups performing to his own accompaniment or singing acapella)
19:30 – dinner

4th day:
8:00 – breakfast; free day
09:00 – for those who wish sightseeing tours (additional charge)
13:00 – Lunch
19:00 – dinner
19:30 – a procession through the city
20:00 – the final rehearsal of the gala-concert
21:00 – Gala concert on the stage of the town’s main square, rewarding participants with memorable awards

5th day:
08:00 – breakfast;
– Check out from hotel (before 10:00 am).

Participation fee:

• accommodation in a triple room €160 /person – extra day €27/person
• accommodation in a double room €180 /person – extra day €35/person
• accommodation in a single room €225 /person – extra day €52/person

Participation fee includes:

• 5 days and 4 nights in a three-star hotel;
• full board, buffet (breakfast, lunch, dinner) + drinks;
• special thank-you certificates in the form of engraving on a special base for each group;
• thank-you letters for choreographers and sponsors on the official numbered letterheads of the kingdom of Spain;
• festival fee;

Participation fee does not include:

• Transfers airport - hotel - airport. Could be requested for additional coast
