The IXth International Art-Festival for Children and Youth "Yaroslavl mosaic" + The XIth International Art-Festival for Children and Youth "The Stars of the Capital"
You will see two beautiful cities of Russia and will take part in two festivals! Today Moscow with its history, architectural masterpieces and innumerable art treasures has found itself in a whirlpool of global currents determining the world development. People from all over the world come to witness Moscow splendors and to fall for the charm the capital of the largest empire on earth certainly possesses. Moscow nowadays is huge, dynamic, diverse and definitely impressive! Yaroslavl - the first Russian city on the Volga River. In the "Tale of Bygone Years", it was first mentioned at 1071. The modern city arose in the place where the Volga - the main artery of the Volga trade route - river Kotorosl on which it was possible to get to the main center Merya land Rostov. Yaroslavl is traditionally considered one of the main objects of the Golden Ring of Russia. The historic centre is listed in the UNESCO world heritage list, which is not surprising.

Program:

01 May 2018. Day 1. Sightseeing (transfer is provided)
Arrival of the group to the station, meeting with the guide. Recommended arrival time: from 8:00 to 12:00. Meeting with the guide: not earlier than 8:00. The meeting at the airport is paid extra*.
Boarding the bus. Sightseeing tour of Moscow. (the Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, the monument for Peter the First, the Novodevichy Convent, Moscow State University, Vorobyovy Hills, Poklonnaya Gora, Triumphal Arch, New Arbat, the Field Square, Tverskaya Street, the Pushkin Square and many other).
Transfer to the hotel. Check-in time after 14.00. Early check-in in the hotel is possible only if there are free rooms. Free time.
Organizational meeting with the leaders of the groups.
Completion of the first day. Free time. Optional – additional excursions*
02 May 2018. Day 2. Festival (transfer is provided)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Boarding the bus. Transfer to the festival. Registration of contestants.
Rehearsal of the concert program according to the schedule.
Opening ceremony. Welcoming words of the jury and the Organizing Committee.
Performances. Round-tables.
Round table for teachers and group leaders devoted to topical problems of education in the field of culture and arts. Discussion of performances of contestants, discussions with the members of the jury.
Gala concert. Disco.
Awarding Ceremony. Presenting diplomas, cups and souvenirs. Presenting letters of thanks and certificates of participation to the teachers and group leaders (during the round table).
The closing ceremony of the festival. Informal communication of the contestants, exchange of contacts.
Transfer to the hotel. Completion of the second day. Free time.
03 May 2018. Day 3. Transfer to Yaroslavl. Excursion to Rostov Veliky (transfer is provided)
Breakfast at the hotel. Boarding the bus. Departure of the group to Yaroslavl (about 250 km)
Bus excursion to Rostov Veliky. City tour of Rostov Veliky (you will learn about history of Rostov Veliky, and you will get acquainted with the main sights of the city). Visit of the Rostov Kremlin.
Lunch. Transfer to the hotel in Yaroslavl.
Organizational meeting with the leaders of the groups.
Completion of the third day. Free time.
04 May 2018. Day 4. Festival (transfer is provided)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Boarding the bus. Transfer to the festival. Registration of contestants.
Rehearsal of the concert program according to the schedule.
Opening ceremony. Welcoming words of the jury and the Organizing Committee.
Performances. Round-tables.
Round table for teachers and group leaders devoted to topical problems of education in the field of culture and arts. Discussion of performances of contestants, discussions with the members of the jury.

05 May 2018. Day 4. Sightseeing tour of Yaroslavl (transfer is provided)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Boarding the bus. Sightseeing tour of Yaroslavl.
Walking tour of the Transfiguration cathedral.
Transfer to the train station. Recommended departure time: after 17.00. Free time before the departure.

* - Not included in the registration fee

Participation fee:

  • 189 EURO (per person) - Category "Standard"
  • 209 EURO (per person) - Category "Standard+"
  • 229 EURO (per person) - Category "Comfort"
  • 15 paying participants + 1 free of charge.
** WARNING! Number of hotel rooms is limited! We book the rooms only after receiving prepayment. 3-bed rooms are available upon request.

Participation fee includes:

  • accommodation in Moscow (3 days/2 nights);
  • accommodation in Yaroslavl (3 days/2 nights);
  • meals (2 breakfasts in Moscow and 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches in Yaroslavl);
  • sightseeing tours of Moscow and Yaroslavl;
  • walking tour of the Transfiguration cathedral;
  • guided bus tour to Rostov Veliky;
  • transfers according to the festival program.

Participation fee doesn't include:

  • entrance fees to museums and tourist sites;
  • additional sightseeing tours and transfers;
  • transfer "station-hotel-station" for small groups (less than 10 people) - on request;
  • visas & transport charges;
  • additional night of stay at the hotel.
Organizational fee for one nomination (not included into the participation fee):
  • 12 EUR for one ensemble participant (no more than 180 EUR for an ensemble)
  • 25 EUR for a soloist
** WARNING! If a sightseeing tour or transfer is rescheduled by the applicant's request to the date or time differing from the standard festival program all expenses shall be covered by the contestant according to the issued invoice.
 
Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment
