Paralia, Greece – a mixture of rich history and modern life…
Paralia (Greek: Παραλία) is a tourist seaside village and a former municipality in the eastern part of the Pieria regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Katerini, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The seat of the municipality was in Kallithea. The 2011 census reported a population of 1,124 for the village of Paralia, and 6,803 for the municipal unit.[1] The municipal unit has an area of 24.344 km2, the community 1.849 km2.[3] This idyllic, exotic and remote seaside place is the ideal escape for those who like long sandy beaches, relaxation and enjoyment.

Participation fee:

  • 165 Еuro per person for 4 nights half board (2 meals per day)
  • For a group of 25 people, you will have 1 free-gratis (24+1).

Accommodation:

Participants will stay in comfortable hotels and apartments, including organizational costs.
  • Rooms: 3–4 beds with private bathrooms
  • Up to 2 double rooms may be used for group leaders and drivers
  • Extra double room: +10 € per person/day
  • Single room: +20 € per day
  • Air conditioning: +7 € per room/day
  • Tourist tax: 2 € per person/day
  • Towels are not provided by the hotels
  • Check-in: after 14:00 / Check-out: before 09:00
  • One free place for every 25 participants
  • Extra night (half board): 40 € per person/day

If your group wishes to extend the stay, please inform the organizers during the application process.

Payment Terms
To confirm participation, each group must pay a 10% advance deposit.
The remaining balance should be paid no later than 15 days before the festival, either by bank transfer or upon arrival (subject to prior agreement).
The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. 
In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule the event.
Prices may be subject to adjustment due to economic fluctuations.
All bank transfer costs are the responsibility of the participants.

Conditions of the festival:

  • Open to choirs, orchestras, folklore, and modern dance groups worldwide
  • No age limits
  • Participant certificates and souvenirs provided by organizers
  • Organized performances, parades, and cultural exchange programs
  • Completed application form required
  • Upon receiving the form and deposit, the organizer will issue an official invitation letter

Obligations of the participants:

  • Each group should include dancers, musicians, and leaders
  • Prepare a 10–12 minute performance
  • Performances may use live music, CD, or USB
  • Bring a national flag and group name banner for the parade
  • Groups traveling by bus must use their own transport during the festival
  • Visa arrangements (if required) are the group’s responsibility
  • Rooming lists must be submitted at least one month before the festival
Insurance:
Each group is responsible for its own health and travel insurance.
Basic first aid will be available, but all medical expenses remain the responsibility of each group.
Media & Promotion:
Festival events will be covered by local and national media, including press, radio, and television. All photo and video materials from the festival remain the property of the organizers.

* The organizer reserves the right of changes in the festival program.

Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.

As a next step: As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival, a group pays 10% in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer or upon the group’s arrival at the hotel, according to the previous agreement with the organizers. This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event. Considering the current economic situation in Europe, in the event of further price increases, we reserve the right to subsequently adjust our prices.

Any banking costs that may arise must be paid by the applicant.
