With pleasure we INVITE you (Folk ensembles, Choral groups, Ballroom dance teams, art schools, Music theatre, modern dance teams, orchestras and majorette teams), (children and youth  groups) to participate in II INTERNATIONAL CAPADOKIA FESTIVAL from 12 - 16 July 2019
Cappadocia, a semi-arid region in central Turkey, is known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Göreme and elsewhere. Other notables sites include Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by troglodytes (cave dwellers) and later used as refuges by early Christians. The 100m-deep Ihlara Canyonhouses numerous rock-face churches.
Some caves are now hotels in towns such as Ürgüp and Ortahisar. Other historical attractions include the Göreme Open Air Museum, a monastic center with stone-cut Byzantine churches ornamented with frescoes, and the multileveled Derinkuyu and Kaymakli underground cities. The craggy Üçhisar Castle, atop the highest land formation in the region, offers views from the summit, while hot-air balloons (operated by several local companies) survey the area from the sky. Rugged, multicolored canyons such as Rose Valley are favored for hiking. A major wine producer, Cappadocia is also home to many vineyards.

Conditions for participation:

  • Folk ensembles, Choral groups, Ballroom dance teams, art schools, Music theatre, modern dance teams, orchestras and majorette teams), (children and youth  groups) are invited to participate
  • There is no limit in the number of participants.
  •  Participants can use CD or live music.
  • Participants will show their performance in place which is in accordance with the festival committee’s decision.
  • Groups should prepare from 6 to 10 minutes program. Groups have performances every day. Choir groups also have performance every day. They will prepare their performance from 10 till 20 minutes.
  • Performance will showed in open area. Performances will showed in areas which are 10 * 12 meter. (Concrete Floor)
  • Festival committee will give a guide to all groups while festival.
  • There will be historical and touristy trips for participants in free times.
  • During the festival, all group's security will be ensured by festival committee.
  • To bring flag of their country
  • Participant groups need to send 5 different pictures, 1 video (which includes their performances) about their groups.

Participation fee:

  • 99 Euro per person for 4 HB in dormitory where groups will be accommodate in 2 and  3 beds (with bathroom in toilets in rooms)
    • There are boy’s and girl’s dormitories different from each other in same campus
  • 149 Euro per person for 4 HB in 4* hotel

Festival organizers provide:

  • for 25 dancers – one gratis,
  • souvenir and gift for each group,
  • Welcome cocktail with leaders of the groups
  • Certificate for attendance,
  • drinks during the performance,
  • tourist guides for sightseeing of the town,
  • free bus parking
  • local transfer for the groups
  • reception in city hall,
  • advertising of the festival (press conference, radio and tv channels, social media promotion,posters and flayers).
INSURANCE: Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered by the group.
After Groups arrived in Hotel will be given detailed program of the festival and each group will have guide during festival.
After the festival finish organizers will send you DVD from the festival program for each group and photos. The copy right of all video materials and pictures are ownership of the Organization of the Festival.
All detailed information  will be supply after your confirmation for participations.
 
NUMBER OF SEATS IS LIMITED ON 400 or 10 -11 GROUPS...
 
Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
