During this period, the preferred duration of stay is 7 days / 6 nights.
 

You are invited to participate in the festival, which will take place on the picturesque Black Sea coast of sunny Adjara. During their stay in Georgia, groups will have the opportunity not only to participate in the festival but also to get acquainted with Georgian history and culture.

The festival program includes an opening ceremony, festival performances, an awards ceremony, as well as sightseeing tours to explore the country’s cultural and historical heritage. 

Main goals and objectives of the festival-competition:

  • To provide children, teenagers, and young people with opportunities for creative interaction.
  • To identify new talents.
  • To promote culture and strengthen international cooperation.
  • To introduce participants to examples of national culture and art.
  • To connect with leading creative groups and establish artistic contacts between participants.
  • To exchange experience among festival countries in the artistic education of children, teenagers, and youth.
  • To create conditions for supporting and developing children’s and youth creativity. 

Participation requirements:

The festival welcomes children’s (ages 5–16), youth (ages 16–25), and adult (26+) groups as well as individual performers in the following categories:
  • Vocal, Choreography, Instrumental, Original Genre, Theatrical Art, Literary Art, Fashion Theater, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, Photography. 
I. Vocal (folk, pop, jazz, classical)

Evaluation Criteria: Musicality, artistic interpretation, intonation and sound quality, timbre beauty and vocal power, stage presence, repertoire complexity, suitability for performer’s age and ability, mastery of performance.

Duration: max 4 minutes.

II. Choreography (folk, pop, classical, ballroom, modern, jazz, street dance, hip-hop, breakdance, disco, belly dance, etc.)

Evaluation Criteria: Performance skills, technique, composition, age-appropriate repertoire, stage presence (movement, costume, props, performance culture), music-dance alignment, artistry, expression of artistic concept.

III. Instrumental (folk, classical, pop, jazz)

Evaluation Criteria: Execution accuracy, instrument technique, sound dynamics, complexity, artistic individuality, repertoire value, originality, artistry.

IV. Original Genre (circus acts, acrobatics, clowning, gymnastics, juggling, prop shows, illusion, etc.)

Evaluation Criteria: Technique, composition, age-appropriate repertoire, stage presence, artistry, artistic expression, spectacle, coordination, physical fitness, presentation, originality.

Duration: max 5 minutes.

V. Theatrical Art (drama, puppet theater, musicals, pantomime, street theater, parodies, shadow theater, monologues, etc.)
Evaluation Criteria: Artistic expression, performance level, stage presence, age-appropriate repertoire, stage design, props, actor diction.

Duration: max 10 minutes.

VI. Literary Art (poetry, prose, fables)
Evaluation Criteria: Creativity, artistry, charm, emotional impact, theme development, speech clarity.

Duration: max 4 minutes.

VII. Fashion Theater (retro, ethnic, futuristic, modern, innovative collections, etc.)
Evaluation Criteria: Originality, style consistency (costume, hair, choreography, music), accessories, performance artistry.

Duration: max 10 minutes.

VIII. Visual Arts (painting, graphics, design)
Evaluation Criteria: Age appropriateness, skill, theme expression, color, composition, expressiveness, originality.

Participants provide 3 works.

IX. Applied Arts (woodworking, ceramics, sculpture, weaving, metalwork, natural materials, etc.)
Evaluation Criteria: Creativity, taste, originality, knowledge of traditions, innovative techniques, material use, aesthetics, age appropriateness.

Participants provide 3 works.

X. Photography
Evaluation Criteria: Story, originality, quality, informational content.
Participants provide 3 works.

Festival requirements:

  • Each group must present 2 pieces;
  • Solos, duets, and small groups - 1 piece;
  • Soundtracks: CD, USB, or MiniDisc with high-quality audio; each recording on a separate medium with the piece title, group name or performer, and duration.
  • Vocalists may not perform with a “+” backing track. 

Work labeling requirements:

  • Visual Arts: include a label with city, institution, child’s name, age, work title, instructor.
  • Applied Arts: same as above.
  • Photography: on the back, include institution, child’s name, work title, age, instructor. 

Festival program:

Day 1: Arrival, airport transfer, registration, hotel check-in (Batumi, Gonio, Shekvetili) after 14:00. Lunch. Free time. Evening introduction, meeting with group leaders. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 2: Breakfast. Beach relaxation. Lunch. Batumi city tour. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 3: Breakfast. Stage rehearsal. Lunch. Opening ceremony and festival performances. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 4: Breakfast. Beach relaxation. Lunch. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 5: Breakfast. Free time. Lunch. Creative meetings with Georgian groups, experience exchange. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 6: Breakfast. Beach relaxation. Lunch. Free time (optional excursion for extra cost). Dinner. Overnight.
Day 7: Breakfast. 12:00 - Hotel check-out. Transfer to Batumi airport.

Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
