Galart Folk’s aim is bridge to between cultures. Every year we are hosting different countries in our festivals. Festivals that focus on cultural or specifically ethnic topics also seek to inform members of their traditions and the involvement of community elders sharing stories and experience provides a means for unity among families. We have a big honour with meeting new friends.
Since 2006 we were organizing 110 international folk festival. When we announced our festivals we said “ We are waiting all over the World to our festival”. We hosted nearly 11.000 folk friends from Macedonia, Serbia, T.R.N.C., Kabardin Balkaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Republic of Ingushetia, Montenegro, Romania, Jordan, Latvia, Russia, Indonesia, Lithuania, Hungary, Mexico, India, Yakutia Republic, North Osetia, Sri Lanka,Ukraine,Argentina,Nepal in our 89 festivals. “...As in your Dreams.”

History of Marmaris
Marmaris;the crossroad of the aegean and mediterranean seaspart of the mediterranean sea between neighbours turkey and greece is the aegean sea. this is how the two neighbours refer to the part the mediterranean between them. the aegean sea is connected to the black sea by çanakkale and İstanbul straits. A frequently asked question; “Where is the beginning and end of the mediterranean and aegean seas?”

Conditions for participation:

Each country can participate with one group in category (folk dance, pop dance, modern dance, choir, majorettes, orchestra)

The commitee won’t pay any fee to groups for attending the festival.

The group should arrive in Muğla-Marmaris on 29 August 2022 and the departure date is 2 September 2022 after breakfast.

The number of group's participants is not limited, including the manager, leader musicians, drivers and dancers.

The age of dancers is not limited.
-
Performances should be with duration 5-10 or 15 min.

The groups may perform with live music or a CD.
-
The groups should bring their national flags.

The groups should send list of dancers, musicians, leaders, driver’s age and sex should before 15 July 2022.

If group will arrive by plane to Dalaman Airport, transfer (Airport-Hotel, Hotel-Airport, transfer during the festival) will be 800 Euro.

Participant fee:
- 160 Euro per person (Full Board accommodation, 4 nights)
- If group want to stay extra day they can pay 30 Euro/person/day.
- At every 25 participants - 1 person is free.

Transportation (Airport to Marmaris and Return)
Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
