Ouarzazate is a town and commune - municipality - in the province of Ouarzazate (Morocco), of which it is the capital, in the Draâ Tafilalet region. It is nicknamed "the Door of the Desert"
Ouarzazate is a Moroccan tourist city in the Draa Tafilalet region, about 200 km from Marrakesh, and 295 km from Errachidia. It is bordered to the north by the village community of Laghasat, to the east by the village community of Ladlsan, to the south by the village community of Tarmect, and to the west by the village community of Ait Zeinab. Ouarzazate is famous for its beautiful surrounding landscapes, and for filming international films in its vicinity and in its studios. The city of Ouarzazate is located in the Noor Station, which is the largest solar power station in Morocco. The area of the urban community of Ouarzazate is 50 km ², according to Decree No. 2.01.1868 issued on 7/25/2001 in the Official Gazette No. 4928 on 08/23/2001, which determines the urban area of the city. The city of Ouarzazate consists of 4 administrative annexes and includes 38 districts.
Conditions for participation:
Performance of a free program 30 minutes.
Performance at open and closing ceremony presentation of country 5 minutes.
Groups from all world and Europe can take in the festival.
Folk dance groups, folklore instruments, music groups folklore songs, folkloric, fairy tales, rituals any arts
Age of participants 12+
Maximum 40 people
Bring small gift for exchange, national flags, visible panel of group name.
Provide brief history, photos, video and material for advertising of groups.
Participation at interchange culture workshops, lectures, exhibitions
After receiving the application form and completion of advance payment, the organizer will send an official letter of invitation for participation of the festival.
Balance of the payment in the festival should completed 90 days prior to arrival.
Arrival at nearest airport Ouarzazate and Marrakech “menara”airport Morocco where all groups will be meet and transfer to hotel in Ouarzazate.

Organization and implementation of the festival;
Concert of all groups at Atlas film studio and The Almohads Square;
Tour Ben haddou;
Diploma and certificate for all participants;

Stage with sound and lighting equipment;
Official group photo and DVD of group on departure;
Bus transfers airport - hotel - airport;
Culture workshops, exhibitions, lectures, films;

06 October - Thursday
Arrival in Ouarzazate. Meet & greet by representatives of the festival at Ouarzazate and Marrakech airport. Check into the hotel.
Sightseeing to Ouarzazate and Marrakech.
07 October - Friday
Breakfast at the hotel. Workshops with the local community /Tour Ben haddou/
19:00 pm - Opening ceremony of the festival, presentation of each country participant; 5-10 min presentation - folkloric dance, music, song, poem, instrument etc. on their free choice.
All groups perform in their national costumes. Grant fiesta - fellowship.
Dinner and Meeting with the Ouarzazate officials.
08 October - Saturday
09:00- 10:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
11:00 - 15:00 Interexchange culture workshops.
18 :00 - 23:00-Grand performance of all groups at the main stage of the festival set up by the organizer of the festival at Almohads Square.
09 October - Sunday
09:00- 10:00 Breakfast at the hotel /TRIP BY REQUEST/. Free time, culture workshops, support local art-purchase souvenirs.
18:00 pm - Closing ceremony of the festival. Awarding the diplomas.
“Arabian disco” local DJ, with Morocco tea ceremony. Dinner.
10 October - Monday
07: 00 Breakfast at the hotel.TRIP BY REQUEST IF AVAILABLE.
Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance a10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
