UKM Seni Tari Universitas Hasanuddin is a semi-profit organization, for art and culture, formed by students at the University of Hasanuddin, Indonesia. UKM Seni tari Universitas Hasanuddin (better known as UST) was first formed in 1995 and then stopped working for several years. UST then reformed again in 2008. The goal and the spesific vision of this organization is to create an Indonesian youth to appreciate more and preserve the culture South Sulawesi, especially South sulawesi, in the field of folkdance and traditional. In the process, the UST has attended various events dance competitions and has received numerous awards at national and international levels. Among them is the Honorable Mention of the Golden Karagoz Folkdance Competition, Bursa-Turkey 2011. UST to this day continues to strive to improve the quality of traditional music and dance in an effort to indroduce indonesian culture to world.
