All these  3 dance groups come from Riga region near our capital city.

„ĀBEĻZIEDS”

Senior dance group Abelzieds means „Flower  of apple tree” consists of 19 dancers age 45 to 65 has taken part in festivals in Lithuania, Slovakia, Check Republic. Thay dance together for 10 years.

They are the organizers of of an international dance festival every year when the apple trees bloom.

 

„VELDZE”

20 dancers of this group dance together for 4 years. As Latvia is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, they organize big concert  in their town Olaine.

 

 „MADARAS”

The name of the group Madaras is called after a very nice smelling summer wild flower. 16 dancers enjoy dancing in the National Botanic garden for the visitors of this famous place located in their native town.
