The Folklore Ensemble "Domog" from Ulan Bator, Mongolia won the title "Absolute World Champion of Folklore" for year 2013.
This became clear after the last session of the jury of the Third World Championship “World  Folk 2013”, which was held from August 22 to September 1 in the resorts of Burgas, Nesebar, Pomorie and Sveti Vlas. In the course of ten days, more than 100 collectives from 24 countries competed for the title "Absolute World Champion of Folklore". The Mongolians impressed both the audience and the jury with their masterly performances, amazing choreography, original costumes and the unique compositions of the string quartet at the ensemble. After the jury selection, they gathered the highest number of points - 35.67.

On a special ceremony in the evening of August 31 at "Arena" Amphitheater in the resort of Sveti Vlas, the artistic director of "Domog" Sosorbaram Dogmid received by the Director of the Championship and Chairman of the European Association of Folklore Festivals Kaloyan Nikolov the "Golden Orpheus" award and a symbolic check for 1000 Euro.

Winners of the "Silver Orpheus" and the honorary second place became the performers of the ensemble from Jakarta, Indonesia, and with the third place and the "Bronze Orpheus" Bulgaria left the Children's ensemble "Mkhedruli 2" from Kabuleti, Georgia.Among the guests on the ceremony at "Arena" Amphitheater were His Excellency Mr. Buniyan Saptomo, Ambassador of Indonesia in Bulgaria, and his wife, temporary acting ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Alma Lubic, as well as the honorary consul of the Republic of Armenia in Bulgaria Mr. Ehiazar Uzunyan.

The jury awarded a special prize for "Complexity of performance” to Dance Team "Bulgarche" from the town of Chelopech. For "Quality of performance" the special prize went to "Domog" Ensemble from Mongolia. The prize for „Vision" was grabbed by the exotic performers of the dance ensemble from Malaysia, and the prize for "Stage presence" went to "Maratuk" Ensemble from Armenia.

The special prizes were handed by the jury members Valentin Halvadjiev and Maestro Georgi Yankov, as well as by Mariana Nutsova, a board member of EAFF and director in the Internet television “Eurofolk TV”. The prize of the audience was convincingly won by the Children’s ensemble "Mkhedruli - 2" from Georgia; the special prize of "Eurofolk TV" – by the folklore formation from Indonesia, and the Children's ensemble "Kokler" obtained the special prize for youngest nominees among the participants.The Director of the Championships and president of EAFF Kaloyan Nikolov handed the Croatian groups "Privlaka - Radovan" and "Dalmatica" the award of the Association, the award of the World Folklore Academy was handed to the Folklore group "Dospat" at "Ivan Vazov-1926" Community Center - Dospat and the award of the World Association of folklore festivals - to Ensemble "Zvartnok" from Armenia.After the ceremony, His Excellency Ambassador Saptomo gave the director of the championship a honorary plaque and thanked the organizers, as well as gave flowers the artistic leader of the ensemble from Indonesia. 

On behalf of the organizers Kaloyan Nikolov thanked all performers and teams, and announced the Third edition of the championship closed. A spectacular concert featuring the international groups was the natural finish of this large cultural event, as the audience supported and wildly applauded the lovely folklore performances.
