The tenth anniversary edition of Black Sea Fest "Euro folk 2013" starts today and will last until September 8 on the south Bulgarian coast. Hosts of the event are the resorts of Primorsko and Kiten, and organizers are "Euro Folk Academy" and the European Association of folkolrnite festivals - EAFF. The Black Sea Fest is a part of Musical Feasts "Euro Folk".
98 folklore groups - dance teams, ensembles and individual performers from Bulgaria and abroad will take part in it.The home ensembles will present all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria, and the guests from Armenia and Romania will express themselves with authentic and processed folklore, as well as with author’s compositions. The concerts are broadcasted live on the Internet television Eurofolk TV.
During the Fest studio audio recordings and filming of professional video clips shall be made, as the best of them will be broadcasted by 50 Bulgarian cable televisions and 4 satellite televisions with range across Europe, as well as by the Internet television Eurofolk TV at tv.eurofolk.com.
The official opening of the Fest will take place on September 4 at 19:30h on stage "Amphitheater" in Primorsko, where from 17:15 begin the appearances of the participants, which will last till 21:50h. On September 5 and 6 the evening concerts are organized on the open – air stage in the Sea Park - Kiten, and the closing concert will take place on September 7 on stage "Amphitheater" in Primorsko.
