"Gadulitsa" Folklore ensemble at "Vazrodena Isrka" Community Center are an absolute Bulgarian Champion of Folklore for 2014 at the V Bulgarian National Championship of Folklore "Euro folk", which took place from 8 to 18 May in Veliko Tarnovo. The Championship is held every year, under the aegis of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF.
Today, the competent jury consisted by folklorists and choreographers, together with members of the organizational committee of the Championship, based on the evaluation system of the World rang-list, pronounced the winner.
The Jury reviewed in details again the performances of the six formations, nominated for the grand award for folklore - Golden "Orpheus".The winners of the Grand Prix receives also a check for 1000 leva from the organizers. "Gadulitsa" Folklore ensemble with art director Dimitar Gaydarov is a new formation, formed very soon.
There is continuity between the generations, because there are either young and old participants in the formation.
The formation has in its repertoire processed Thracian folklore and uses a lot of strings instruments and
polyphonic singing.
The second place took "Avliga" folklore trio at "Peyo Yavorov - 1978" Community Center from Dupnitsa.At the third place the jury ranked "Trakiyska magia" ("Thracian magic") dance ensemble from Zlatitrap village, Plovdiv Region, and at fourth place - "Svetlina" Folklore group at Theritorial Organization of the blind people in Dobrich. The fifth place is for Female Folklore Choir at "Razvitie - 1902" Community Center from Merdanya village, Municipality of Lyaskovets, and at sixth place - "Detelina" Children dance ensemble at "Geo Milev" Secondary School, Varna.
