From 23rd to 27th of July in one of the oldest towns in Macedonia - Ohrid was held the VIII Children International folklore festival "Ohrid Pearl". 187 participants from 5 countries - Romania, Montenegro, Turkey, Cyprus and Macedonia presented their cultures through dances, music and interesting national costumes.

The festival evening was held near the oldest tree- Cinar, where the participants brought the different cultures closer.

At the end of the festival evening the director of the festival Mr. Milenko Andreski thanked the participants for taking place on the VIII International Children’s Festival “Ohrid Pearl” by giving them certificates and all the groups had chance to exchange gifts and contacts with each other.
 
During the festival groups had an opportunity to meet new people, make new friendship relationships and also to see the beauties of our town Ohrid by visiting many historical and cultural monuments, cruising to St. Naum with boat, visiting The Bay Of Bones also the Cave Church, St. Kalishta and Vevcani Springs in Struga.
