12 groups with about 350 participants from Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Greece and Israel have created a fantastic and unique atmosphere at the Open International Folklore Meeting, which took place from 3rd to 6th of August in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

Groups of musicians, dancers and singers who participated in the festival, presented their typical cultural traditions and values. Their excellent performances on stage and high-quality performances earned recognition and positive feedback. During the defile and the gala concert they were also applauded loudly.

The special atmosphere which the organizers had provided, contributed to the good company and the creation of new friendships among the participants. They promised to see each other again at  the next Folklore Festival between 16th and 19th of October in Budapest.
