From 29 August to 2 September, IV Folklore dance festival Galart Folk created a bridge between the cultures in the Turkish resort Mugla (Marmaris). Five collectives from Bulgaria, two from Turkey, one from T.R.N.C and one from Russia with total number of 150 participants, represented their native traditions through dance and song, shared stories and experiences and established new friendships, said the director of the festival, Selçuk Yıldız.During the event were held organized workshop classes between the groups and pleasant activities, as boat trip, diving, parties and other. The participants had two performances, parade and meeting with the mayor.Since 2006 until today, Galart Folk had held 63 international folklore festivals. „When we announce our festivals, we say "We invite the whole world to visit our festival". We are hosts of about 11 000 friends participants from Macedonia, Serbia, T.R.N.C, Kabardino-Balkaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Ingushetia Republic, Montenegro, Romania, Jordan, Latvia, Russia, Indonesia, Lithuania, Hungary, Mexico, India, Yakutia, North Ossetia in our 63 festivals."
