The president of the European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF) Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov took part at the IV Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum, organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of St. Petersburg.
 
Mr. Nikolov attended the Forum, whose topic was "The role of mass media for preserving the cultural heritage" and Roundtable discussion on "The Economics of cultural heritage - preserving through development", which were held in Peter and Paul Fortress - "State Museum of History". The main speakers at the event were from the USA, Indonesia, Norway and others.
 
During the Cultural event was opened the Folklore Educational Centre at the St. Petersburg State University of Culture, specialized for the digitization of cultural heritage. In it students and teachers digitize and store their researchs after visits to various regions of Russia.
 
Mr. Nikolov attended the Master class conducted by prof. Nikolay Kravtsov - Honored Artist of Russia, Professor, PhD in Art History, Dean of the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, his name was registered in "Golden Book of Motherland".
Among the participants in the Master class was Aydar Gaynullin- world famous accordion (bayan) player, singer and composer, academician in cinematographic art. For outstanding achievements in art Aydar Gaynullin is included in the "Golden Book of Russian talents", named after the Russian president.
