International folklore festival "Alexander Makedonski" took place from the 21st until the 25th of July, 2016 in Ohrid, Macedonia.

9 groups from 7 countries took part, from countries like Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedoina, Bulgaria and Poland with more than 360 participants.

Ohrid is host to this wonderful event , which showed the most fascinating tradition and variety of cultures. There was was a parade near the Ochrid lake, and also on the main street.  Two festival nights were held. 

The participants had the chance to meet new people, to enjoy the beauty of Ohrid , and learn about it's rich history.
