The start of the festival season in Russia will begin in early 2017.

From 4th till 7th of January huge, dynamic, diverse and definitely impressive Russian capital Moscow will host the IV International Festival for Children "Stars of the capital". Participants will compete in 6 categories and 8 age groups.

A day later, on January 5, in St. Petersburg - another emblematic of Russia city begins the XVI edition of the Art Festival for Children and Young People "Winter inspiration". The festival will continue until January 8 and also has a competitive nature.

St. Petersburg will host three major music events in the first quarter of 2017 - IV International Children and Youth Choir Championship (22 - 26 February), IV International Choreographic Festival for Children and Youth "The Magic of Dance" (26 - 29 March) and IV International Vocal and Instrumental Festival for Children and Youth "Northern Cantata" (March 26 to 29).

In the "third capital of Russia" - Kazan from 23th till 29th of February will host the III International Choreographic Festival for Children and Youth "Beat of Dance". Kazan is founded more than 1000 years ago and is one of the biggest cultural centers of Russia. With the support of UNESCO in Kazan is created the world's first Institute of World Culture and in 2013 the city became the host to the most ambitious project - XXVII World Summer Universiade.
