Dmitriy Anatolievich Raytov from St. Petersburg (Russia) became the laureate of Russian National Contest in the field of education, pedagogy, work with children and youth up to 20 years old "For teacher's moral achievement”. The award of associate professor from the Department of "Folk instruments" of St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture and Methodist in Secondary School №684 «Bereginya" in the Moscow region is for his development of "Learning and methodological kit on the subject "Music" for 1-4 grades that helps spiritual-moral and civic patriotic education of young students."
The awarding ceremony was held on January 26, 2017 in the hall for plenary meetings of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of V Nativity Parliamentary Meeting during the XXV International Readings. The Chairman of State Duma of Russian Federation Mr. V. V. Volodin and the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in the presence of deputies of the State Duma and members of the Federation Council, members of the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Russian Church, the Supreme Church Council awarded Mr. D.A.Raytov with the prestigious prize.
Russian National Contest in the field of education, pedagogy, work with children and youth up to 20 years old "For teacher's moral achievement” is conducted by Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation and Synodal department of religious education and catechism with the support of the Plenipotentiary of the President in the Central Federal District.
Work of Dmitriy Raytov in development of "Learning and methodological kit on the subject "Music" for 1-4 grades that helps spiritual-moral and civic patriotic education of young students" is accepted and acknowledged as the best not only in “Pedagogy in higher and secondary school“ nomination, but it became laureate among all presented works – 118 projects from 9 federal districts. It is worth noting that only on the regional round of the competition in the Russian Federation were presented 2308 projects from 2339 participants.
Dmitriy Raytov won the 1st place and was awarded with Diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation, singed by the Minister O.Y. Vasilev, Certificate, signed by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, Letter of appreciation from the Committee of State Duma in matters of family, women and children in contribution to civic and patriotic education of children and young people, integration of young generations to the heritage of world culture and Russian history, singed by the Chairman of the Committee T.V. Pletnev as well as Honorable Diploma of the Charitable Fund “St. Nicholas the Wonderworker”.
Designed for general education organizations, educational and methodological kit on the subject "Music" (for grades 1-4) is oriented to the spiritual and moral and civic-patriotic education of students, to the formation of value-semantic orientations, based on the legacy of folklore music, Russian music art. The kit enables the preparation of their knowledge about the history and culture of their nation; reveals didactic capabilities of traditional culture in the music activity as a process of transmission, preservation and rethinking the values, as a process of formation of stable interest to national traditions, as an effective mechanism for ethno-cultural identity of a person, as a means of harmonization of interethnic relations.
Educational-methodical set consists of a textbook on music, multimedia application to any textbook, electronic textbooks, workbooks for students and music sheets readers for each grade, work program, syllabus, methodological tools for teachers. All of this is developed from Dmitry Raytov and printed by publishing house «Russkoe slovo» - 24 educational products, included in the set.
Dmitriy Raytov took part in a duet with Anastasia Fomina in the VI World Championship of Folklore “World Folk” 2016 which was held in a few lovely towns on the Black sea coast of Bulgaria. For their excellent performance in the first three competition days of the Championship, two virtuoso musicians, not just played but told us stories with gentle melodies of their instruments. The duo was awarded with Golden medals in the "Folklore music" category, laureate distinction, an honorary diploma for participation, diploma for significant contribution to the preservation and development of world traditional folklore arts.
