International folklore festivals from the system of the European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF are cultural events, which present the achievements of artistic groups from the world.

Greece in one of the tens attractive European folklore destinations, which you can visit. Two of the numerous festivals in the Southern neighbor of Bulgaria arouse interest among the participants.

Greek hospitality, crystal blue sea, bright Greek sun ... and lots of music and dancing! This may be part of the charming memories from the summer, if you submit your application for inclusion in the XII International Folklore Festival in Aiginio – Makrigialos. It will be held from 29th of June to 4th of July 2017 in the Prefecture of Pieria, Greece - kingdom of Orpheus and the Muses. At the festival can participate Traditional folk dance groups. Folklore dance and folklore vocal groups are the preferred participants in the 3^rd International Folklore Festival, which will be held in the period September 8 -12, 2017 in Hersonissos – tourist town located on 25 km eastern from the capital of Crete – Heraklion. Crete is the largest island in Greece and it is the second biggest (after Cyprus) of the East Mediterranean.
