All beloved contest “Kazan Patterns” was held on October,8 in the capital of Tatarstan, Russia. More than 380 participants from 17 Russian cities took part in this event. The festival opened the new arts season 2017/2018, informed the organizers of XV International Art-Festival for children and youth “KAZAN PATTERNS“.

„The school year has just begun and our participants are already ready for the arts battle. Representatives of nominations “Choreography”, “Vocal”, “Theatre”, “Instrumental music”, “Arts” have gathered in the Puppet Theatre “Ekiyat” – one of the most noteworthy attractions of Kazan.„
The festival day started from numbers of the youngest artist – kids from Choreographic Ensemble "Solnyshko" from Bryansk. Then on the scene appeared representatives of Moscow, Perm, Astrakhan, Lipetsk and Kazan. Also in the nomination Choreography performed guests of the festival who came from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, form the Far East of Russia.
During the contest day members represented a lot of choreography styles: kids dance, folk dance, folk stylized dance, pop dance, ballet. The most favorable impression on judges produced Moscow city creative collective national choreographic ensemble “School Years”. They became the owners of the Grand Prix Cup, the prize for the best costume and for the best choreography work.
A special impression on the jury and the viewers was made by the Children’s Creative Team “Carousel” from Engels, Saratov region. They presented a musical performance “Tabor goes to heaven”. Members of ensemble are hard hearing people, but it didn’t stop them from demonstrating an unrealistic level. “Carousel” became a Laureate of the 1-st Degree, prizes For the will to win, For the best director’s work.
Despite the high competitive of the musical part of the contest the 2-nd Grand Prix cup went to the single instrumental group on “Kazan Patterns” – Orchestra of accordionists "HARMONIC" (Khimki, Moscow region). More than 30 songs performed our members. The highest scores earned vocalists from Sinyavino and Novokuibyshevsk (Russia).
During the festival contestants could become acquainted with the most interesting and beautiful places in Kazan. The program of stay at the festival included a sightseeing tour and a trip to the island Sviyazhsk. The jubilee 15th festival in Kazan became a truly warm event for our participants. The organizers were happy to meet so many talented and motivated people on the festival.
The next contest “Kazan Patterns” will be held from October 30 to November 2."
