To the south of Italy, east of Tunisia and north of Libya, an International music festival will be held on the archipelago in the center of the Mediterranean. From April 16 to 23, 2018, the island state of Malta will host the event that promotes culture and unites the nations. What better place than the capital Valletta, which is the capital of Europe's culture for 2018?

The unique island with rich history and culture will host the event for choirs, groups and orchestras from all around the world. Participants will present their repertoire in the Concert Hall Valeta and the best of them will have the opportunity to participate in a concert of church songs in the St. Paul Cathedral.

At the request of the groups, the hosts of the festival can organize tours around the capital's and island's attractions.

Malta is the smallest EU country. Historical data about its origins dates 7,000 years ago. Impressive are the 23 megalithic temples facing south. The oldest of them, which houses the main altar, was built around 3600 BC. You can learn more about the island's history if you visit the Archaeological Museum, the Palace of the Maltese Order as well as St. John's Cathedral. The capital La Valletta or the town of knights, as they are still called, is one of the preferred destinations when it comes to romance. To feel the spirit of Malta, the culture of people and to explore all the sights, you should also see the botanical garden, the old capital of Malta, called the City of Silence, because it is forbidden to drive by car.
