The capital of Italy - Rome hosted the VI International Youth Arts Festival-Contest "Viva, Roma!" in the framework of the "Salute Talents" project. The event was held on May 3, 2018 in at Teatro Greco and gathered 300 participants from Russia.
The opening ceremony of the international festival-contest began with a welcome letter from the head of the Russian Center of Culture and Science in Rome. After that, musicians, vocalists, choreographic and creative groups presented their performances to the public in the nominations "Vocal Art", "Instrumental Creativity", "Choreographic Creativity" and "Theatrical Creativity". The event concluded with a Gala concert and ceremony of awarding the participants of the festival-contest.
The jury of the International Festival-Competition "Viva, Roma!" included Italian cultural worker, artists, designers, musicians and teachers who appreciated the creativity of Russian children's groups.
The Grand Prix was awarded to Ivan Piyatkov from Karasuk (Novosibirsk Region). The young musician received the award for the "Concert Etude", A. Gedike. According to the jury, the young man has a unique and rare talent and has a great future in the field of musical art.
