VI. Summer Arts Festival was held from 3rd till 6th August in Krakow. 14 groups with more than 450 participants from seven countries took part in the festival.

"There have been wind bands from Hungary, folk dancers from Latvia, Romania, Wales, Turkey, Serbia, Czech Republic and a choir from Romania.  The bands met the sights of Krakow - the Basilica of Mary, the Post Office, the Wawel Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Kazimierz Quarter and the Vistula section.", informed the director of the festival Aron Kovats.

The first concert at Rynek Podgórski was on an open-air stage. The closing evening took place in Krakow's biggest beer hall on the stage of the De Silva hall.

The groups came up in a bustling gala show saying goodbye to each other and to Krakow.  Gifts and souvenirs were handed over the leaders of the groups.

"Organization of the festival was very good, all communication clear and understandable. All participants were happy and enjoyed the participation in the festival." - Children's and Youth Dance group "Saule"- Latvia
