XV World dance festival „UDBHAV UTSAV 2018“ was held from 20th till 25th of October in Indian town Gwalior. Director of the festival Deepak Tomar expressed his thanks to the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF and personally to the President Kaloyan Nikolov, for the support of this festival. "Dear Mr. Nikolov, dear friends, with your support this year we have held a very successful festival. Groups from Sri Lanka, Bulgaria and Turkey, as well as 45 groups from different regions of India, participated. The honorary guest of the festival was HE. Mr. Fardo Arziev (Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of India). There were also guests from large banks and state institutions," says the director's special letter to the Association. Gwalior is a major and the northern-most city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Located 319 kilometres (198 miles) south of New Delhi, the capital city of India. The city and its fortress is a big attraction for the tourists. It is also an important place for Indian classical music and dancing. Udbhav Utsav is an International Folklore Festival that takes place every year in Gwalior in October and November. Every year, hundreds of foreign and thousands of Indian artists participate in it.
