Spring is approaching and everything is ready to blossom. The time for more outdoor walks, meeting with friends, trips is coming. A planned trip for Easter holidays to the largest city and the capital of the Czech Republic - Prague, can bring you wonderful emotions and unforgettable memories. In this "old town", which has been protected since 1992 under the UNESCO World Heritage Protection Program, a VI Easter Folklore Festival will be held. From 12 to 15 April, on an open-air stage in the city center there will be folklore, traditions and culinary surprises. Applications for participation in the festival are accepted until 15 March on the website of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF.

If you prefer a green landscapes and rocky heights, plan your trip to Kranj (Slovenia). The old town is well preserved and located in a place where the Kokra River flows into the Sava River. From 9 to 12 May, the XVI International Folklore Festival will be held in Kranj. Folk dance groups, choirs, cheerleading groups and musical formations are welcome at this event. The participants can combine their stay in a wonderful way, taking advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the sights of the fourth largest city in Slovenia: St. Cantianus and Companions Parish Church, Cocra canyon, Kieselstein Castle and others. Applications for participation are accepted until March 22nd.

In May, you can also visit another impressive destination, one of the great Croatian islands in the Adriatic Sea, located off the Dalmatian coast, Hvar. From 16th to 19th of May, the International Folklore Festival will take place in the town of the same name, which you can combine with Croatian exotics and many interesting sites to be explored. On the south side of Hvar is a small town - Old Town, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can apply for participation until March 22nd.
