During the official closing and awarding ceremony of the XXIII Stara planina Fest "Balkan folk" 2019 and simultaneously held with it X National Championship of Folklore "Euro folk" and the IV edition of the World Cup of Folklore - Veliko Tarnovo, the winners in the prestigious events were announced. 

The work of the jury of the Bulgarian National Championship and the World Cup of Folklore is based on the world ranking list's rules. The groups were assessed in 9 categories and 2 age groups. Some of the highest awards are the Golden "Orpheus" and "World Cup" nominations, which also include the nominees for the third and second place and for the Championship Grand Prix and the World Cup for Folklore in 2019.

The jury's decision confirmed that the Representative dance ensemble "Balkan" at "Razvitie 1869", Dryanovo village (Bulgaria) is the Absolute national champion of folklore in the X Bulgarian National Championship of Folklore "Euro folk 2019". The group won the Golden "Orpheus", Golden medal and check at the amount of 1000 BGN.  Vice-champion of 2019 and winner of Silver "Opheus" and silver medal of the competition is Children's-youth folklore ensemble "Kyustendilche", Kyustendil (Bulgaria). Vocal group "Peristena", Peshtera (Bulgaria) won the prestigious third place - Bronze "Orpheus" and bronze medal. 

The jury commission in the IV. World Cup of Folklore has determined that the winner of the Forum's Grand Prix for this year is Dance ensemble "Ludi mladi", Shumen (Bulgaria). The group received the Cup of the competition, Diplooma for the first place, and voucher in the amount of 1000 Euro provided by EAFF, for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk".  Second place in the World Cup of Folklore - Veliko Turnovo 2019 took the Music Theater "Ambassadors", Bucharest (Romania). The group received a Diploma and voucher in the amount of 500 euro for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk". The third place in the final standings was for Ensemble for authentic folklore "Kapantsi" - village of Getsovo (Bulgaria). The ensemble received a Diploma and a voucher for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk" in amount of 300 Euro.

The price of the main media partner of the musical events "EuroFolkTV" was awarded to Dance group "Star merak", Sandanski (Bulgaria). Special award of the District Administration of Veliko Tarnovo was given to Folklore ensemble "Kitka sharena", Katuntsi village (Bulgaria). Diploma for honorable presentation on behalf of Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo was awarded to Dance group "ShoplukA", Varna (Bulgaria). 

EAFF also gave recommendations for participation in the International dance festival in Italy as an Erasmus+ program to the Dance ensemble "Ludi mladi", Shumen; Representative dance ensemble "Balkan" at "Razvitie 1860" Community center, Dryanovo and Children's-youth dance ensemble "Kyustendilche", Kyustendil. 

The President of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - Kaloyan Nikolov officially closed the prestigious musical forums held in the historical and spiritual capital of Bulgaria - Veliko Tarnovo in the period from 9 to 19 of May, 2019 with the words: "I want to thank all the participants, because they keep the spirit of our ancestors and they are the bearers who will pass it on to the next generations, preserving our identity and nation."

The events that took place under the auspices of EAFF with the support of Veliko Turnovo Municipality were attended by more than 200 Bulgarian and foreign groups and individual performers with more than 3,500 singers, dancers and musicians of all ages. The musical celebrations brought together three accompanying events - a parade with about 400 participants, visit and flower laying at the monument of Iliyan Nikolov - the founder of Musical feasts "Euro Folk" and EAFF, and a photo exhibition entitled "Folklore - Past, Present, Future" in the entrance of "Konstantin Kisimov" Music and Drama Theater.
