XIII International Folk Dance Festival "Macedonian Sun of Alexander" was held in Ohrid from 18 to 22 July. Over 350 artists from Croatia, Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia and Romania took part in the forum.

The international concert took place on the 19th of July on the main stage of Ohrid, where participants presented their cultures through folk songs and dances. At the end of the festival night, the leaders of the formations were awarded with certificates and gifts by the director of the music festival - Mr. Zoran Strezovski.

On July 20, groups had the opportunity to see the beautiful monastery of Saint Naum, sailing by boat on the lake with the same name. The voyage of the foreign participants ended with a party at hotel „Desaret“, where they created many joyful moments and friendships, while they were learning more about their cultures in a fun way.

At the end of the folklore event there was a seminar, which included the performers who had the desire and the ambition to learn different choreographies, characteristic of foreign cultures.
