From 14 to 18 May 2020, Bulgaria's historical and spiritual capital will become a center of the folklore art. In parallel with Stara Planina Fest "Balkan Folk" and the National Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk", in the old town will be held the World Cup of Folklore ™ - Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
The program of the forums can be attended by artistic groups and individual performers of all genres - folk choirs, ensembles, orchestras and dance groups, classical, tourist, patriotic and church songs, without age or organizational requirements.
Join this collaboration of unforgettable music experiences, which will be recorded by professional operators for the purpose of live broadcast on Internet television – “EuroFolkTV” and the creation of a film production, that will show curious moments from the stage performances of the performers, their participation in the accompanying events and the immediate musical and dance emotions.
The organizers of the forums fulfill the main mission of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF, which is to promote the traditional folk arts through the enormous potential of the mass media. The mission of the festivals is to preserve the diversity of basic traditional values and the identities of the different nationalities, because this is a guarantee of the evolution of humanity.
