The second edition of the International Festival "Children's Folklore" will be held from 25th to 28th of April 2020 in the Romanian capital - Bucharest. 

The main purpose of the festival is to bring different cultures closer through dances, music and interesting national costumes, providing an opportunity for the members of groups to get together and create long lasting friendship. Main theme of the festival is "From children to children" and the program includes sightseeing, rehearsals, official opening and closing ceremonies, exchange of gifts and souvenirs.

Festival is oriented to traditional and stylized musical performances and dances, and it does not have a competition element. It will provide a stage for performances of children and youth folklore groups - dance ensembles, vocal groups, instrumental groups and soloists.

Watching the movie about the first edition of the forum which was held in 2017, filmed by the team of Eurofolk TV, you can make sure of the high level of organization and excellent conditions. The very first edition of the International Festival proved the enormous role of folklore in the development of children's self-awareness, sense of nationality and positive attitude towards other peoples.

The mission of the organizers, represented by the Ambasadori Musical Theater and their partners - the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF and the National Palace of Children in Bucharest, continues into 2020, aiming to preserve and promote the folklore art preserved in the years though the centuries.
