From 7th till 9th of February 2020, the International dance competition "Vienna Dance Open" provided stage for performance of groups from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Serbia, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Hungary, Russia, Belarus and Italy.

More than 1500 participants made the event one of the largest and the best competitions in Europe. Events were conducted at two stages simultaneously, where groups and dance clubs from 17 countries were presented.

The competition was held simultaneously with the International Folklore Festival in Vienna and the participants of the both forums were about 2000.
