In the period 13 - 15 May, a new cultural event is organized under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria). The forum is named "Songs for the Soul" and, with its launch, the event's founders are marking the 20th anniversary of the first issue of the television show "Songs for the Soul", which is broadcast on the Global Internet TV "EuroFolk".

The new festival aims to promote the vocal art through the media and to symbolize the EuroFolk TV's perseverance and contribution in fulfilling this mission for over 20 years.

The period of the event coincides with the first days of the XXIV Stara Planina Festival Balkan Folk 2020 and the idea is the first edition of the new festival to concentrate on one stage the performances of the ensembles for old urban, tourist and patriotic songs.

Organizers of the event which is held in the frames of Musical Feasts "Euro Folk" - The world is television are the Euro Folk Academy, Konstantin Kisimov Music and Drama Theater, Veliko Tarnovo Municipality and Event Vacation Tourist agency.
