The UNESCO web platform on ‘Living Heritage experiences and the COVID-19 pandemic’ was launched today. Join us in discovering the various experiences, which were collected from the online survey. The platform presents many interesting and inspiring experiences from different regions. 

The examples show both the impact of the crisis on living heritage and its effect on communities, but also illustrates how living heritage can be a powerful tool for resilience and solidarity during this crisis. The platform aims to be a common space for sharing and exchanging experiences among communities in times of crisis.

The survey and its results are also being shared to the wider public through social media UNESCO (facebook-video, twitter and instagram), with the hashtag #LivingHeritage.

The platform will be regularly updated, based on the results of the ongoing survey, so please continue filling the questionnaire in order to define how the social distancing affects the processes for safeguarding and promotion of living heritage.
