Ensemble for folklore dances "Velchinetsenii" at House of culture - Velchinets, Moldova presented the beauty of Moldovian folklore art and national values at the stages of World Championship of Folklore in 2017. 

The group won the Golden medal, title "World Champion of Folklore" in 2017 in the "Group for folklore dances, processed folklore - children age group" category and the Nomination for the Grand Prix Golden "Orpheus" of the Championship '17. 

The first international tour of the performers was in 2015 to a festival part of the Musical Feasts "Euro folk".

"All the festivals that are held under the auspices of EAFF give us the chance to learn more about other nationalities, other cultures, to see different folklore costumes. The ensemble is formed soon, but the future is in front of us. We presented dances from South Moldova, from Central Moldova and from North Moldova...", said the artistic director of the "Velchinetsenii" Ensemble - Gheorghe Furculica. 

Through the performances of the Ensemble, the audience of the World Championship got acquainted with the folklore of Moldova. You can do it also!
