On November 12 and 13, 2020, ICHCAP (International Information and Networking Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO) in collaboration with ICH NGO Forum (The Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations for Intangible Cultural Heritage), will hold an online conference for non-governmental organizations with a topic "ICH and Resilience in Crisis".

The tradition of ICHCAP of organizing events every two years, giving a primary focus on the work of non-governmental organizations in the field of intangible cultural heritage, considering the situation worldwide, dates back to 2014.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused conditions of instability and this caused the holding of this year's timely edition of the conference, which aims to explore the role and challenges for ICH NGOs, especially in the field of education.

The online discussion will explore the relationship between intangible cultural heritage and education, in the context of sustainable development, and will enable non-governmental organizations, dealing with the intangible cultural heritage, from all over the world, to present their good practices and share their useful experience, giving information about their activities.

The organizers of the online discussion welcome the representatives of NGO of ICH, based anywhere in the world, including those, who are not accredited by UNESCO, under the Convention of 2003, to take part by submitting an application with resume in English, no later than August 14, 2020 by e-mail (ich.ngo.conference@gmail.com).

Let us build new networks and strengthen the existing ones, while tracking the sustainable development of humanity.

Applications are also accepted by those who cannot have NGO membership, but have written theses, case studies, scientific reports or other scientific results for NGOs from ICH.
