International folklore group "Krapiva" at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Russia (Moscow) is winner of the Golden medal in the category "Folklore ensembles - processed folklore" and the Nomination for the Grand Prix Golden "Orpheus" in the VII Balkan Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk - Jiva Voda" in 2018. "Ensemble was founded many years ago. The University develops the artistic activity diligently, thanks to the students from different countries, who want to show their skills and to present their nations and their culture. The goal of the performers is to make the spectators happy, to be interesting for them.", told the artistic director of the group Mrs Ekaterina Karelina. There are various specialties at the university, and the participants are engineers, translators, lawyers, economists and journalists.
