Vice Chairman of the Hural of the representatives of the town of Kyzyl - Lopsan Ayas Leonidovich awarded a Diploma on behalf of Mr Kaloyan Nikolov - president of the European Association of Folklore Festivals.

The prize was given to Mr Chood Naschyn, artistic director of Folklore ensemble "Heelig", Kyzyl (Russia).

The group at the International scientific center "Khoomei" presented the Tuva Republic on the online edition of the X World Championship of Folklore "World Folk" 2020 which was held from 15 to 24 September.

The authoritative jury and the virtual audience awarded the performers with a diploma for participation in the online edition of the X World Championship of Folklore "World Folk" 2020, laureate title - I degree in the category "Folklore Songs, Authentic Folklore", second place - silver medal, prize - Silver "Orpheus", diploma of world champion of folklore for 2020 and a cash prize of 500 Euro in the form of a voucher for participation in the upcoming edition of the forum.

Mr Ayas Leonardovic congratulated the head of "Heelig" group for his work, talent and significant contribution to the preservation and development of the world's traditional folklore arts. The Vice Chairman wished the performers many more creative successes and participation in international events.
